To tell a story, it is necessary to be deeply in love with life. I've been drawn to the arts since I was very young. That love continued into college, studying for my BA in Fine Arts. My love of photography found me unexpectedly in high school. I couldn't put the camera down. I fell in love with every aspect of it, and I found a passion that would last the rest of my life. Currently, you can find me traveling the world.

So when it comes to meeting a new photographer and you have no idea if you will gel/vibe ... you do not have to even consider that when you hire Katie. Katie is a dream! From the moment I met her I was like... oh my gosh can we be friends?! She is authentically nice, genuine, open and loving. And very playful! Our family recently worked with Katie and had such a wonderful experience with her! During the shoot, Katie helped guide us and everything felt super comfortable and easy. We have two little girls who march to the beat of their own drum, and Katie was very patient with them, offering up fun ideas to help them laugh and always had a smile on herself making the shoot a lot of fun for them too. She went above and beyond. We loved working with Katie and would absolutely recommend her!
On the day I had my first surfing lesson I had Katie come along to document the process. I had no idea what to expect from both her, and the ocean, but needless to say the whole experience was wonderful. My surfing teacher was really good at keeping me focussed so that the photos Katie took are 100% comfortable. Katie was really friendly before and after the shoot. She did some amazing editing work on the photos and had them ready very quickly. I would recommend Katie to anyone seeking a photographer.
I’ve worked with Katie a couple times now and can only say amazing things about our experience. She has such a gift to capture the moment in her shots especially with our little kids. She’s got such a great personality to work with and is easy to get along with. She’s very organized and got our pictures back to us lightening fast. I loved her edits, she did a great job cutting unwanted people in the background of our beach shots. I can’t wait to work with her again. I can’t highly recommend her enough!
